Most singers have one major problem when starting out in the music industry… ‘How do I get myself noticed?’. Yes, there are plenty of other singers out there, and often it’s not enough just to be a better singer than them. But having a great voice is a fantastic start.

It seems like inspiration is everywhere when you look for it. Consider my latest source of joy, Harry Potter. I haven’t even seen the new movie, only the previews, and was moved to tears. My six year old daughter Emily thought this was rather amusing, as I passed the popcorn.

Vision – You need to be able to see the goal ahead of you. You must be able to visualize the success of your business, or you will never know if you’ve found it.

Smart Guest bloggers don’t settle for just responding to their readers’ comments; they take things further and visit their cars alongside other social hangouts. How about following them on Twitter and sending them a private “thank you for taking the time comment on my post” message? This could be the beginning of a fruitful relationship.

Take for example if you own a construction company that advertises on a website. You need to blog about the services your company offers as well as having content related to the importance of construction. There is no need to get into price specifics… you just want to direct people to your website.

Ask for other opinions. My mom is my biggest cheerleader and my biggest critic (besides myself, of course), but she’s the best resource I have for examining my work. She knows my real voice (what I sound like conversationally); she’s honest with me, telling me if a passage works or not; and she asks me questions to help me whittle away the fluff in my writing and get down to the point. Reach out to your family members and friends. Ask personal intrest for their advice. Does your writing sound like you? Get specifics. What words don’t work? What phrases sound wooden or trite?

Lastly, you just need to combine the above 3 sections into a paragraph and wolah… you’ve just completed your first attempt to finding your purpose in life.

Facebook: set-up a facebook fanpage page roughly a full week before you wish to promote, generate a lot of comments on there from your team. Be certain that each individual produces no less than one statement. Begin a handful of themes of discussion and also answer all new threads. This is actually significant as this keeps the thread current and flowing and suggests more people will comment.
