The cat population is growing in leaps and bounds in Spokane. More and more residents are realizing what a precious pet they make and are adopting their very first cat. Below are a few easy steps to take before bringing that first kitten into your home.
Buy a metal bowl or tray that will fit snugly inside the toilet bowl. It would be advisable for the metal bowl to have small draining holes. Fill the bowl with best affordable vacuum for pet hair (preferably the flushable type). Now remove your cat’s litter box entirely. If you have reached this step successfully you are very close to having a toilet trained cat!
Cat boxes come in all shapes and sizes. We are fortunate to have options to see what works for your feline friend. Specialty pet stores sell electronic litter boxes making it possible to never touch litter again. However, some cats will be frightened by a litter box that makes noise. If this isn’t an option for your cat, line your litter pan with a pan-liner.
The second problem may cat owners face is cleanliness. Cats are notoriously clean, and having an unclean litter tray can make them not enter. This was the problem with my cat, and now that he is almost 15 years old having the slightest bit of dirt in his litter box was a problem. The only solution is using better quality litter, and cleaning out daily.
Paint outside- Even though the person that is buying your house may paint once they move in, painting the outside of your house will give a terrific first impression. The potential buyer will know the home is nice and well cared for. The buyer will feel happy and bright just like your house.
When you’re ready to plant, press the flat side of the board into the dirt, making a narrow channel for your seeds. Lay down the board on its side with the notches facing away from you. Use the notches to help you with spacing, and plant your seeds.
A cat litter mat can save you a lot of time when it comes to cleaning up around the litter box, as well as making it harder for your cat to track litter all over the house. Why not take a closer look at the mats at your local pet store? The mat may be the solution you have been looking for.
